Job Description:

- The Senior Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth by leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals.

- This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, building strong customer relationships, and consistently exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team.

- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.

- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

- Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

- Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and create targeted sales campaigns.

- Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Accurately forecast sales revenue and manage the sales pipeline.

- Track sales activity, monitor progress against targets, and identify areas for improvement.

- Key Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with key existing customers.

- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

- New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.

- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

- Negotiate contracts and close deals.

- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

- Use this information to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.

- Sales Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze sales performance metrics.

- Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights to senior management.

- Use data to identify trends and make informed decisions.

- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate effectively with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support.

- Communicate regularly with the sales team and senior management.

- Sales Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

- Identify and implement best practices.

- Sales Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team.

- Sales Strategy: Strong understanding of sales principles and strategies.

- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales activities and track customer interactions.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the SaaS industry or experience selling to the healthcare Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
