Experience Level: 5+ years for BE/BTech OR 3+ years for MTech

Meril's Robotics Division is at the forefront of innovation, driving advancements in robotics and automation. We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge solutions that redefine technology's role in healthcare and beyond.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand research papers and product patents.
  • Develop and implement algorithms inspired by academic and industry research.
  • Gather and translate software requirements into functional modules.
  • Design system architectures for standalone applications.
  • Collaborate on various software platforms to achieve desired functionality.
  • Create and execute test cases to validate development work.
  • Document development processes and maintain clear communication across teams.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to fulfill cross-platform project requirements.
  • Take full ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely and quality delivery.


Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background:
  • BE/BTech in Computer Science, Mechanical, Robotics, or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of experience; OR
  • MTech in the same fields with 3+ years of experience.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
  • Experience in algorithm development for engineering functionalities (e.g., 3D geometry, computer vision).
  • Proficiency in programming languages: C++, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Git and UML diagrams.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
  • Hands-on experience with VTK, OpenCV, and Three.js.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB and SIMULINK.
  • Experience in the medical device industry (preferred).
  • Knowledge of IEC 62304 standards is advantageous.
