Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a talented and dedicated Website Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and updating our website on a daily basis to ensure it is fully functional, user-friendly, and up-to-date with the latest content. This role is crucial to our online presence, and you will play a key part in our digital strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the company website, ensuring optimal performance, speed, and user experience.
  • Update website content regularly, including blogs, news articles, product updates, images, and other relevant information.
  • Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements to enhance site functionality and security.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align website updates with promotional campaigns, SEO strategies, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Optimize the website for mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage website plugins, themes, and integrations to ensure the smooth functioning of all features.
  • Conduct regular website audits to identify areas of improvement and implement updates accordingly.
  • Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to inform decisions on content updates and improvements.
  • Ensure all content is SEO-optimized and adheres to best practices for digital marketing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Website Manager, Web Developer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in website management platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Joomla) and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and content management.
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure traffic and performance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a timely manner and manage a variety of website content.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience managing e-commerce websites or platforms with high traffic.
  • Candidates based in Siliguri or willing to relocate will be given preference.
