Wundrsight Healthcare is a venture-backed digital therapeutics startup based out of Bengaluru, India. We are developing a Mixed Reality & AI based Digital Therapeutics platform to improve treatment outcomes, engagement, and ease of care for the delivery of neurocognitive, mental, and behavioral health solutions. Our mission is to build Medical Grade Software Applications (SaMD) for the healthcare industry with close to 8+ products already in commercialisation and being delivered globally. Role Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead/Engineering to lead our engineering team and drive the technical vision and strategy of our venture backed digital health startup. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years of experience in Unity, AR/VR/XR software and game development, with a proven track record of leading successful engineering teams and delivering high-quality products.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, designers and 3D artists/modellers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  2. Technical Strategy: Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for the organization. Work closely with founders to align technical initiatives with business goals.
  3. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  4. Architecture and Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable and robust software architectures. Make architectural decisions that align with long-term technical goals.
  5. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and maintainability. Implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality software products.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical team, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
  7. Performance Management: Set performance goals for team members, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Identify opportunities for skill development and career growth.
  8. Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.


Qualifications


  • In-depth knowledge of Mixed Reality (AR/VR/XR) and AI technologies
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, C# and platforms such as Unity, Unreal game development engines, along with design tools such as Blender, Maya, Vuforia
  • 5-10 years of experience in Unity software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering successful software projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile development practices and project management tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong passion to build Medical Extended Reality applications for impact in the healthcare industry
