SAP HANA FIN VIM Consultant - Bangalore (6-8 years)

Role Overview

As a SAP HANA FIN VIM Consultant, you will act as a trusted, client-facing advisor, leading the implementation and support of finance and invoice management solutions built on SAP S/4HANA and OpenText VIM.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end implementation : gather business requirements, design solutions, configure, test, and roll out SAP HANA Finance and VIM functionalities

- Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop requirement specifications and detailed functional design

- Perform SAP configuration for FI sub-modules (AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Controlling) with VIM integration

- Implement VIM features such as Invoice Capture Center, document type configurations, approval workflows, chart of authority, indexing enhancements, custom developments, and integration with SAP

- Provide post-go-live support, including testing (unit/integration/UAT), user training, documentation, troubleshooting, and stabilization

- Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, handle change, and deliver under tight timelines

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and act as liaison between finance/process/business stakeholders and technical Experience :

- 6+ years of overall industry experience, with strong expertise in SAP Finance and OpenText VIM

- Hands-on involvement in one or more full lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA Finance, including VIM integration

- Proficiency across SAP FI modules (AP, AR, GL, AA, Controlling), with a solid understanding of integration points (MM, SD, etc.)

- In-depth knowledge of VIM (preferably version 20+), including Invoice Capture Center (BCC/IES), ArchiveLink, process types/options, chart of authority, and custom enhancements

- Strong testing capabilities-designing functional test cases, performing UAT, and managing post-deployment support

Preferred Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree required; a Masters degree is preferred

- Prior experience in SAP HANA implementations is a plus

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills-comfortable in client-facing roles

- Proven ability to work independently, manage stress, and adapt to evolving project needs

- Experience handling multiple-sized projects and leading configuration, testing, and rollout This Role Stands Out :
