The primary focus of this role will be responsible for Strategic sourcing, Vendor Development & Commercial part.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Indirect goods and services, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Ensure adherence to budgetary norms, process (PO) timelines, quality requirements and costs targets and maintain turnaround times.
  • Analyze and identify cost-saving opportunities in the procurement of Indirect goods and services.
  • Track and report on cost savings achieved through procurement initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal departments, including Maintenance, Tool Room, Manufacturing Engineering and HR to understand their procurement needs and provide best support in sourcing of Goods and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cost reduction through Negotiation / Localization / Alternate sourcing / Cost Saving.
  • Release supplier performance report on monthly basis.
  • Cost reduction/saving project through VAVE.
  • Supplier Audit and closure of Non-Conformance.

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate degree preferred)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in using MS-Office, project planning software and using Analytics
