About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize the Salesforce system, which will become the core business system across the organization. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies and collaborate with a dynamic team. You will be integral to the ongoing success of the organization’s technology operations, with a key focus on the administration, customization, and support of the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the Salesforce system, including user access, roles, permissions, and the configuration of objects, fields, workflows, and page layouts.
- Ensure the integrity and security of Salesforce data through regular audits, updates, and compliance with best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for Salesforce customizations and enhancements.
- Create and manage reports and dashboards to track key business metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Support system integrations and maintain best practices for Salesforce development and administration.
- Provide ongoing training and support to Salesforce users, ensuring the optimal use of system features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Salesforce functionality, working with IT teams when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases and new features, leveraging them for the benefit of the organization.
- Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, customizations, and system processes.
- Enforce IT policies related to security, usage, and access controls, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Contribute to incident response efforts during system outages or technical issues.
Highly Desirable Criteria
- Expertise in customizing Salesforce features, including objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows to meet business needs.
- Experience in Salesforce administration across multiple modules, such as Sales, Service, CRM Analytics, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Maps.
- Hands-on experience managing Salesforce-related CI/CD processes.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and data management best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and foster collaboration.
Desirable Criteria
- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Experience with Veevart administration.
- Knowledge of Australian Government standards related to accessible design and development and user experience practices.

- Proven experience in Salesforce administration, with a strong understanding of its customization and management.
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure situations, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in managing and supporting technology systems in a collaborative environment.
