Azimuth was founded in 2017 by Rohin Tagra, an experienced banker with more than 20 years in the financial services and banking regulatory space. Rohin founded Azimuth to help financial services organizations better address the gaps in the regulatory change management process and to provide an easy-to-implement solution for full-population automated compliance testing.

Role Overview :

The Project Manager - Regulatory Compliance Management will oversee and coordinate regulatory compliance projects, ensuring that all activities align with legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, developing compliance strategies, and ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and within regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage regulatory compliance projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.


- Develop and implement compliance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.


- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into project plans.


- Monitor project progress, identify potential compliance risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address these risks.


- Prepare and present compliance reports and documentation to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.


- Conduct regular audits and reviews of compliance practices, recommending improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.


- Stay current with changes in regulations and industry standards, ensuring that the company remains compliant with evolving requirements.


- Provide guidance and training to team members on regulatory compliance issues and best practices.


- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.


Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree along with Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCEP) is preferred.


- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management with a focus on regulatory compliance or risk management.


- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the [industry] sector, including [specific regulations or standards relevant to the industry].


- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.


- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with various departments.


- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.


- Proficiency in project management software and tools (Preferred - JIRA).


Preferred Skills :


- Experience with regulatory compliance in a global or multi-national environment.


- Familiarity with compliance software and systems.


- Knowledge of industry-specific compliance frameworks and best practices.
