Associate Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

QA Engineer with 2-5 of Experience:

- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Quality Assurance.

- Understand and follow the Quality process requirements for the product.

- Hands-on experience of Working on QA Automation frameworks based on Selenium with Java, and JUNIT.

- Must have a good understanding of OOP's concepts and Java programming.

- Strong working knowledge of source control branching and merging in Git.

- Experience in building & maintaining automation Pipelines using Jenkins.

- Understand and follow the Quality process requirements for the product.

- Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, DB (MSSQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium with Java and JUNIT.

- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through JIRA.

- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

- Monitor debugging process results.

- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance.

- Proficient with QA automation frameworks, particularly Selenium with Java, and experience with JUNIT.

- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.

- Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Desirable :

- ISTQB certification is a plus.

- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
