Hiring - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

SUMMARY:

Seeking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for managing entire Behavioral Driven Development and Test-Driven development discipline for globally delivered multi-tenant api`s in travel vertical. Should be able to automate. Testing of Microservices leveraging AWS Serverless and native solutions that can cater to more than one product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Must be customer focused, goal oriented, and have a passion for success.- Responsible for building backend test automation for microservices.- Responsible for understanding end to end functionality of the product and build test automation.- Responsible for ensuring tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner using Agile Scrum methodology.- Performs in-depth research to define the cause of the problem and offers direction to the development team to resolve the problem.- Work closely with developers and/or product support representatives to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product anomalies or design issues- Need to work closely with Product Managers and Architects to come up with test scenarios that can be automated.- Assists the dev team as an SDET to improve quality in early cycles of delivery through some standalone performance testing.- Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle- Will engage with global teams and scrum master to demonstrate product being built for every sprint.- Responsible for Regression testing, end to end Integration testing of product to be delivered.- Will be self-driven, motived and takes pride in automating quality aspects of software.

EDUCATION & EXERIENCE

- Strong hands-on experience in developing code to do automated testing for APIs to be built.- Must have Advanced level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes.- Must Have - Core Java, Javascript , API Automation , UI Automation , Selenium Web driver.- Blended experience of manual and automation experience Cypress.
