Job Title: Education and Outreach Coordinator

Remuneration: Rs 30,000- Rs 35000 a month.

Job Description:

CUPA an animal welfare organization, based in Bengaluru is seeking an Education and Outreach Coordinator dedicated to targeting schools and colleges to educate students on the basics of Animal Welfare and the importance of Rabies prevention. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal welfare, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a strong interest in working with educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement educational programs on Animal Welfare and Rabies prevention targeting schools and colleges.
  2. Conduct outreach programs including surveys, fieldwork, and seeking necessary permissions for interventions related to animal welfare.
  3. Plan school & college visits and events to promote awareness about animal welfare and Rabies prevention.
  4. Maintain detailed records and reports of outreach activities to be submitted to the Head Office and designated Project in charge as required.
  5. Keep a travel log documenting visits to educational institutions, and compile a list of institutions visited along with the number of students reached during outreach programs.
  6. Collaborate with school administrations, teachers, and students to organize educational workshops and events focused on animal welfare.
  7. Act as a liaison between the organization and educational institutions to foster partnerships and promote ongoing engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 
  • Strong passion for animal welfare and advocacy for Rabies prevention.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in outreach programs or educational initiatives is preferred.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed records and reports.
