About INNOFarms AI (A StellarNOVA Venture)

INNOFarms AI is an innovative AgTech venture that’s revolutionizing indoor commercial vertical farming with cutting-edge AI-driven technology, IoT, Computer Vision, Data Analytics, and Robotics. We are on a mission to solve critical global challenges such as food security and sustainability through AI-powered agriculture solutions. Our growing team spans across India, Singapore, and Hong Kong, and we are looking for an experienced Chief of Staff & HR Head to help build a world-class team, manage employee engagement, and oversee operations across the company and related ventures.


In addition to INNOFarms AI, you will support other StellarNOVA Ventures portfolio companies, ensuring smooth talent acquisition and HR operations for these fast-growing ventures.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. HR & Talent Acquisition:
  •  Lead the recruitment and talent acquisition process for INNOFarms AI, and any new Venture under StellarNOVA Ventures portfolio.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes that align with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are set up for success from day one.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs and create a talent pipeline for key roles.
  • Handle employee relations, ensure compliance with labor laws, and foster a positive work environment.


2. Employee Engagement & Culture:

  • Design and execute employee engagement programs that promote a positive and productive work culture.
  • Facilitate team-building activities, performance reviews, and recognition programs to enhance morale and employee retention.
  • Create and maintain an inclusive, diverse, and dynamic workplace that fosters innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop wellness programs and initiatives that support the overall well-being of employees across all ventures.


3. Office Operations:

  • Led the Venture Studio & Innovation Lab operation and other day-to-day office operations in Gurugram to ensure smooth functioning. Lead INNOFamrs AI Office Operations along with Junior Office Admin Manager.
  • Implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency, enhance office productivity, and bring transparency to the execution of projects and office functions.
  • Effectively managed office budgets and expenses, including procurement of office supplies and handling travel arrangements to ensure the proper use of the allocated funds for the venture with full transparency.


4. CEO Executive Support:

  • Act as the right hand to the Founder & CEO, assisting with strategic initiatives, cross-venture collaboration, and high-priority projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and updates on these new ventures.


5. Cross-Venture Support:

  • Support StellarNOVA Ventures’ portfolio companies with talent acquisition, HR matters, and employee engagement as they scale.
  • Assist with setting up HR and operational processes across these ventures to ensure consistency and efficiency.


6. Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as Chief of Staff, HR, Business Operations, or a similar role, preferably within a venture capital, tech startup, or high-growth company.
  • Education: Master/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or HR certification is a plus.


7. Skills:

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, talent acquisition, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to simultaneously manage operations and strategic projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to foster a positive work culture and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.
  • Proficient in HR software, Accounting, and office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar).
  • Experience managing distributed teams and working in multicultural environments.
  • Location Flexibility: Ability to travel occasionally for support (Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.).
