Candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to make a difference are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct soil sampling and oversee laboratory analysis.- Apply and develop models to assess soil processes and carbon dynamics.- Manage scientific projects related to soil science, crop systems, forestry, and carbon management.- Analyze data using tools such as Python, R, or similar software.- Collaborate with teams to align projects with carbon protocols and standards (training provided if needed).- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.- Ensure project timelines and milestones are - Bachelors degree or higher in Soil Science, Crop Science, Forestry, or a related discipline.- Experience with soil sampling, laboratory analysis, and data interpretation.- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and/or modeling (e.g., DNDC, RothC, DayCent).- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.Additional Information: Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of carbon protocols and markets.- Experience with GIS tools or spatial data analysis.- Familiarity with sustainable agriculture or forestry practices.
