Position : Associate Legal.

Location - Gurgaon.

Responsibilities :

Legal Compliance:

- Stay up-to-date with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company's compliance.

- Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal requirements.

- Conduct regular audits to identify potential legal risks and recommend necessary actions.

Contracts and Agreements:.

- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, partnership agreements, etc.

- Ensure contracts align with the company's interests and provide necessary protections.

Contract management.

Intellectual Property:.

- Manage and protect the company's intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.

- Advise on IP-related matters and oversee trademark and patent registration and maintenance processes.

Litigation Management:.

- Collaborate with external legal counsel to manage litigation and disputes, if any.

- Develop and execute strategies to minimize legal risks and achieve favorable outcomes.

Regulatory Affairs:.

- Interface with relevant government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations.

- Assist in obtaining necessary licenses, permits, and approvals.

Data Privacy and Security:

- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR and local data protection laws.

- Develop and maintain data privacy policies and procedures.

Risk Assessment:

- Identify potential legal risks associated with business decisions and propose risk mitigation strategies.

- Provide legal advice to different departments on risk management and liability issues.

Training and Education:.

- Assisting in conducting training sessions for employees on legal matters, compliance, and ethical standards.

- Assist to promote a culture of legal awareness and compliance within the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B) from a recognized university;

- 2-4 years of experience as practicing lawyer or in-house legal counsel preferably with experience in ID and digital ad industry

- Strong understanding of Indian laws, regulations, and legal procedures.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.

- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and contracts.

- Experience in managing external legal counsel and working on cross-functional teams.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of international laws and regulations (if applicable) is a plus.
