Client of Alp Consulting Ltd, which is a leading Product company is looking for Director of Engineering & Site Leader.In this role, you’ll be leading and scaling theHub in Bangalore– the centerpiece of global software development. With a strong focus onsoftware engineering leadership , you will guide a growing team of developers and technology experts in alignment with Technology Leadership Team, while also overseeing a smaller shared services team (mainly financial services).What You’ll DoLead & Scale the Hub : You mainly build and expand our software engineering and technology team, delivering reliable, high-quality solutions embedded in global access solutions framework. Engineering Leadership : You shape technical direction as part of Technology Leadership Team, and act as a sparring partner for product and development leaders worldwide. Drive agile, DevOps, and quality practices. General Management : You oversee financial planning, compliance, and reporting for the Bangalore entity. You also ensure smooth integration of local support and shared service functions into global workflows. Talent & Culture : Attract, develop, and retain top (engineering) talent in India. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the key interface to global leadership, bridging between India, and the wider network.What You BringDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Provenleadership experience in software development/engineering , ideally in an international tech environment. Strong understanding of agile development, DevOps, and quality assurance. General management skills– financial oversight, compliance, and cross-functional leadership. Intercultural leadership experience, ideally managing teams across Europe and India. Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
