Job Duties : - Design and implement SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB databases.- Ensure databases are properly maintained, including backups and restores. - Manage deployments and ensure best practices are followed.- Work with the security team to ensure database security.- Manage database migrations between servers and versions.- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases.- Work with vendor support on any issues that require their assistance.- Develop and maintain documentation related to databases.- Collaborate with other IT team members, including the development team, to ensure system availability and performance.- Create Change Management Requests with IT and Development.- Support reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.- Provide Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.- Work with the development team members for AI integrations.- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.- Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.- Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI using Power Query and DAX.- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across dashboards.- Implement row-level security and manage access permissions in Power BI.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. Qualifications : .- 5+ years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.- Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.- Experience with database migrations and deployments.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong communication skills.- Ability to work during US Central time zone hours.- Experience working with vendor support is a plus.- Familiarity with Change Management processes.- Experience supporting reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.- Experience providing Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.- Familiarity with AI integrations.- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.- Experience in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
