Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Infrastructure Engineer. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's infrastructure, administering systems, and ensuring network security. The day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, performing system administration duties, and monitoring networking systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Projects to participate in

  • You will be in charge of building and operating the infrastructure environment for enterprise applications.

What you are in charge of

  • Build and operate new infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure, etc.) for client systems
  • Documentation and standardization of environment construction procedures and operational processes
  • Promoting automation through infrastructure coding (IaC: mainly Terraform)
  • Technical training and support for offshore teams (Vietnamese members)
  • Gathering information on the latest technologies, proposing applications to PoCs and services
  • Hearing and coordinating technical requirements with clients as necessary

Background

  • To increase demand for infrastructure environment start-up in new and existing client projects
  • There is an urgent need to create a knowledge and system that promotes stable operation and efficiency by utilizing a wide range of on-premises and cloud-compatible technologies.

Required output

  • Safe and efficient construction of infrastructure environment
  • Establishment of a procedural and standardized environment Preparation and sharing of documents/technical knowledge
  • Educational content and QA support to encourage the independence of offshore members
  • Reporting on the verification results of new technologies and technical proposals for field application

Examples of technologies used

  • Cloud :AWS(EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, ECS, ETC)、Azure Compute, Networking, Database ETC)
  • Infrastructure automation: Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • On-premise: Mainly Windows/Linux server environments
  • Communication: Slack, JIRA, Confluence, Zoom
  • CI/CD pipeline (as needed)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in building and operating cloud (AWS or Azure) environments
  • Experience in using and operating IaC tools such as Terraform
  • Standardization and documentation skills for environment construction and operational procedures
  • Communication skills that allow for technical explanations and education (experience in teaching offshore members is especially welcome)
  • The desire to catch up with new technologies and use them to improve operations and on-site operations.
