Role OverviewThe Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, analyze warehousing operations, and support the design and implementation of optimized processes and systems. This role requires strong analytical ability, documentation skills, and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities1. Requirement Gathering & Documentation- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational and system needs.- Document detailed business requirements, process workflows, data requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.- Create clear, comprehensive requirement documents aligned with business objectives.2. Process Analysis- Analyze current warehousing and related system processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.- Translate business needs into user stories, process maps, and solution requirements.3. Process Improvement- Evaluate existing warehouse processes for optimization and efficiency enhancement.- Recommend process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities to streamline operations.4. System Evaluation- Assess current technology solutions and available software applications for suitability.- Provide recommendations for system enhancements, configuration, or new solution adoption.5. Data Analysis & Reporting- Analyze warehouse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making.- Prepare dashboards and reports to track performance, project progress, and operational metrics.6. Solution Design & Evaluation- Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.- Evaluate solution options considering feasibility, cost, timeline, and alignment with industry best practices.7. Stakeholder Communication- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.- Conduct requirement workshops, feedback sessions, and project update meetings to ensure alignment.8. Testing & Quality Assurance- Develop test cases and participate in system and process testing.- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.9. Training & User Adoption- Prepare and deliver training materials for end-users on new processes and systems.- Support change management activities to facilitate smooth adoption and minimize resistance.10. Risk Assessment- Identify potential project risks and issues.- Recommend mitigation actions and escalate concerns where necessary.11. Performance Monitoring- Define KPIs and monitoring mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of implemented processes and systems.- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure continuous improvement.12. Project Management Support- Work with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.- Track project progress and support in managing risks, issues, and change requests.
