Job Description:

As an L1 SharePoint Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for SharePoint environments within our organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of SharePoint services, as well as assisting end-users with any issues or questions they may have.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain SharePoint environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  2. Respond to and resolve support tickets related to SharePoint issues in a timely manner.
  3. Assist end-users with SharePoint-related questions, training, and troubleshooting.
  4. Perform regular system checks, backups, and updates to ensure the integrity of SharePoint data.
  5. Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and integrate SharePoint solutions with other systems.
  6. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  2. Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, libraries, lists, and permissions.
  3. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint automation tasks (preferred).
  4. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Office 365 or SharePoint (preferred).
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
