Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and business processes related to SaaS and Subscription Billing.

- Design, implement, and maintain Zuora configurations and customizations to meet the evolving needs of the business team.

- Serve as an internal SME and guide best practices for Zuora implementation and usage.

- Provide front-line support for all aspects of business-facing applications, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions.

- Identify areas for improvement and propose projects to optimize business operations.

- Maintain proper system access for user roles, ensuring compliance with segregation of duties.

- Manage the change management and release process using the CI/CD framework.

- Stay up-to-date with Zuora system functionality, customization, and integration.

Requirements :

- Experience supporting billing modules such as Customers, Product Catalog, Subscriptions, Billing and Invoicing, Payments, and Taxes.

- Experience working with any SaaS Subscription billing systems (SAP BRIM, Oracle, Zuora, BillingPlatform).

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of billing systems with other enterprise tools.

- Knowledge of Postman, SOAPUI, or other API testing tools.

Domain Knowledge :

- Good knowledge of subscription lifecycle, types of amendments, and the full billing cycle (invoicing, invoice templates, payment, payment gateway configuration, revenue recognition, financial reporting, ERP integration).

- Understanding of payment gateways, country-specific requirements, refund, chargeback, and cancellation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
