About the role
As a Senior Django Backend Developer - Django, you will be a lead part of the Backend team working on developing product features as well as improving existing code base. As a platform for AI and content solutions, you will be collaborating with the management teams, content creators as well as target customers to funnel their insights and increase Ailaysas competitive advantage and unique product offerings.
What you will do at Ailaysa:
- Be part of the product's lead team - positions may include lead developer or tech lead depends upon the expertise and experience
- Deliver scalable and production ready code.
- Follow coding conventions and maintain a clean code base.
- Coordinate with frontend developers, management teams and product managers to proactively improve the product.
- Write Unit tests for APIs.
- Work on third party API integrations.
- Work with our AI/ML team.
What is required from you:
- Very strong knowledge of Django REST framework.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in web development using Django REST framework.
- Good knowledge of object-relational mapping (Django ORM)
- High inclination to learn new technologies and product domain knowledge.
- Proactive communication skills and a desire to work collaboratively in a team.
- Good knowledge in using Git, Github
- Good knowledge of Docker
Good to have skills:
- Basic knowledge of Java and SpringBoot.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
- Knowledge in Generative AI / NLP is an added advantage
