Role Description

Quilytics is seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Mumbai and support our clients in leveraging data for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP, data analytics, data integration, data visualization and predictive modeling, with a focus on supply-demand analytics. You will be responsible for creating and managing the end-to-end data pipeline from data acquisition, data storage to data transformation.


Job Description

  • Collect data from multiple systems like SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Coupa using SQL/PLSQL
  • Design and develop a centralized system to help business units with their data reporting.
  • Design and develop dashboards and visualization using platforms like Looker studio, Power BI, Jupyter notebooks and MS Excel
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and external service providers on a wide range of topics that require SAP SD expertise, including business requirements analysis, issue troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, business process optimization, integration topics, cross-functional projects, end-user training, translating requirements into technical solutions, and providing cost-benefit analysis and estimates.
  •  Collect, clean, and structure logistics and supply chain data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Define, track, and analyze critical supply chain metrics (i.e., on-time delivery, inventory levels, transportation costs, demand forecast accuracy), identifying areas for improvement.
  •  Conduct in-depth analysis to pinpoint the root causes of supply chain inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or cost drivers.
  • Develop models to enhance demand forecasting, optimize inventory allocation, improve route planning, or streamline other supply chain processes.
  • Partner with teams across logistics, procurement, sales, and operations to understand their data needs and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Conduct rapid assessments of business processes, supply chain performance through industry benchmarking, and quantitative analysis, and drive re-architecting as needed.
  • Design mathematical models using commercial and proprietary modeling tools to answer strategic and tactical business questions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, visualization, automation and data engineering.
  • Preliminary Experience with data technologies such as SAP, Oracle Netasuite, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake or similar
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Fivetran,Talend, Informatica, and Airflow or similar
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle or similar
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker studio, Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView or similar
  • Strong proficiency in Python libraries and SQL
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Additional certification in relevant domains such as supply chain management is beneficial
