Make a difference every dayJob Description Your Team Investment Services Operations provides global end to end middle to back-office support for trade management,portfolio operations and data management, reconciliation, corporate action, bank loans, fund services and reporting to support Invesco's investment related activities.The team focuses to provide quality service with highly disciplined operations, to deliver responsive support for investment processes, new products and instruments, to be responsive to changing economic, regulatory and risk environments, to manage and deliver quality data in accordance with "SMART" data principles.Your Role Advance Principal - Change Management is a key role within the Change Management function supporting Investment & Distribution Services. As a Project/ Change Manager, you will be responsible for executing projects/ initiatives and driving change in a diverse role that includes strategy planning/ execution, analytics, continuous improvement and other key governance for the function, while managing stakeholders' expectations.The role involves collaborating with internal functions and subject matter experts, to ensure project/ change is delivered in a timely, engaging, and effective manner.The right individual will be a 'global problem solver', with a good understanding of Investment and Distribution Services and/or Investment-related activities.This person should be a dynamic & critical thinker and a self-starter who encourages confidence and credibility.Successful candidates will possess the professional competence and interpersonal skills to command the respect of senior leaders.Other skills should include dedication to continual improvement in execution, a collaborative approach to win internal support, and influencing skills to work with global partners.Manage a number of projects through the full project life cycle from the strategic project planning, execution and on to tactical activitiesEnsure projects are well defined, aligned to business goals, well documented and appropriately reportedEnsure all risks and issues are understood, raised, prioritized and escalated (if appropriate) with sufficient time to enable resolution &/or independent decisionsWork with business, ops and support (Risk, Audit, Tech etc.) functions to understand the guidelines and implications of project executionDesign, approval and implementation of detailed operating model changesAbility to extract information, at all levels of the organization (individual contributor to senior management), to identify core problems/needsAbility to conduct complex analysis and present data & insights in a meaningful waysAbility to write system requirement specifications to include use cases, data models, assumptions, and mock-ups, when necessaryPrioritization of projects and project deliverables in line with functional strategy and stakeholder's requirementsWork closely with business functions to pro-actively identify & define opportunities for continuous improvement; build diagnostic and develop business casesManagement of Continuous Improvement agenda/ drive and shaping up project opportunitiesDrive development of new CI tools and methodologiesAssist in the definition of performance metrics for all projects as well as business functions and drive governance around the same with stakeholdersDirect and co-ordinate change, risk, and communications management around the improvement projects underway and plannedCommunicate project status frequently up and down the organization and suggest changes to use available capacity efficientlyOptimize the Continuous Improvement framework & establish control proceduresContribute to various governance forums as appropriateMust take ownership and accountability of working as primary point of contact for all Continuous Improvement initiatives, enhancements and projects being delivered from HyderabadCollaborate with cross functional team to resolve issues or improve the process for future stateKey proficienciesStrong customer focus with knack for quick actionsAbility to identify and drive tactical plan aligning to strategic resolutionExcellent, strong and precise communication skills and ability to create pitch for audience at all levelsBeing able to stay on top of the big picture and view inter-connectivity of tasks and solutions.Ability to take care of flexibility and change without getting flustered, especially in quickly evolving production & client scenariosAbility to develop trust with various internal and external facing teams and clients.Encourage others: Demonstrate a deep passion for technology and financial domain and build an ability to tap into the creative minds of the project teamMaintain a broad understanding of our systems, customers and business goals.The Experience You Bring·8+ years of Project Management/ Change Implementation experience, or equivalent experience preferably in Financial or Investment Banking Sector ·Project management experience would be preferred with strategic planning and development experience ·Experience in delivering change management solutions in highly regulated and complex financial services organizations ·Strong stakeholder management with experience of building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership Strong knowledge in agile project methodologies ·Ability to facilitate global collaborations by articulating strategic vision through dynamic presentations ·Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills ·Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way ·Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen to and incorporate other people's opinions and a strong "out-of-thebox" thinker who challenges status-quo ·Ability to handle ambiguity and make sound decision (and ability to assess risk) even when data or information on hand are limited ·Financial domain expertise, particularly, familiarity with US financial markets.
