Job Description :


As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems. You will work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development best practices, a passion for continuous learning, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

Location : Chennai

Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and implementation of complex features and services.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and career development support.

- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best coding practices and high standards.

- Optimize backend performance, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

- Actively participate in architectural and design discussions to shape the direction of our backend infrastructure.

- Manage and prioritize technical debt, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring long-term sustainability of the codebase.

Requirements :

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development using Ruby on Rails or Django frameworks.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.


- Proficient in data modeling, defining feature specifications, database design and management, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Comfortable defining and updating system architectures, including interaction between APIs, background processing jobs and notifications.

- Experience with REST API design and implementation.

- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
