Location: Borivali West, Mumbai (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst/Scientist to join our team in Borivali West. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of proven experience in data analysis and visualization, with proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. As a Data Analyst/Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  2. Perform advanced data analysis using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
  5. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and data mining to address specific business questions or challenges.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
  7. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. 5-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
  3. Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  4. Strong SQL skills for querying and extracting data from relational databases.
  5. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling visualizations and dashboards.
  6. Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with machine learning algorithms.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
