As a Human Resources Specialist at Laiton Crafts, you will play a vital role in recruiting top talent, fostering a positive work environment, and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about HR, adept at leveraging modern recruitment techniques, and capable of engaging with top-level Acquisition:

1. Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, utilizing diverse channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.

2. Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

3. Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.

Onboarding and Orientation:

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, preparing welcome kits, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless integration.

- Provide support and guidance to new employees, addressing any questions or concerns and assisting with paperwork completion.

HR Administration and Compliance:

- Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations, using HRIS software.

- Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations, and keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management.

Employee Relations:

- Act as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and career development opportunities.

- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and confidential manner, in consultation with senior management and legal counsel if necessary.

Training and Development:

1. Identify training needs within the organization and collaborate with department heads to develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

2. Organize workshops, seminars, and other learning activities to foster professional growth and career advancement.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional HR certification is a plus.

Experience:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

- Demonstrated success in sourcing and attracting top talent, particularly at the senior level.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and employees at all levels.

- Proactive mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
