Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to handle procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, and vendor coordination within a pharma manufacturing ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:- Manage procurement of APIs, excipients, packaging materials, machinery & consumables.- Identify, evaluate & onboard vendors, CMOs, suppliers, and maintain strong relationships.- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and annual contracts.- Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, SCM, and R&D for procurement planning.- Maintain purchase records, vendor audits, and compliance documentation.- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory 3-10 years of pharma procurement experience.- Strong vendor network in API / RM / PM segments.- Good negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.- Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
