Role Overview

We are seeking a Backend Developer (SDE II) who thrives in ownership-driven roles and can independently deliver scalable and high-performance backend systems. You will collaborate with our core team to design APIs, optimize infrastructure, and build real-time functionality that powers a platform used by hundreds of thousands of gamers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Develop and optimize real-time communication systems leveraging Redis, WebSockets (Socket.io), and scalable database architectures.
  • Implement caching strategies, performance tuning, and scaling solutions for high-traffic environments.
  • Architect APIs and services that integrate seamlessly with our frontend and mobile clients.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, with strong documentation for long-term scalability.
  • Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, and high availability in production environments.
  • Coordinate with frontend team to build products.
Required Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MySQL with proven ability in query optimization.
  • Practical expertise with Redis for caching, messaging, and WebSocket-based communication.
  • Solid understanding of scalable system design, asynchronous processing, and distributed architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus.
