Please find below your Key Responsibilities:


Role


The Head of Development plays a pivotal role in driving the technological vision, innovation, and execution strategies of the product development organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep understanding of product development lifecycles.


Technology Stack


  • Front End - Angular 16, Angular js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Programming languages - ASP. NET framework, MVC, C#, .net core
  • Backend - WCF, Web Services, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON
  • Database - MS SQL
  • Server - Microsoft Azure, Azure PAAS
  • Testing Tools - Selenium Webdriver, TestNG,
  • Methodologies framework for product development - Waterfall model
  • Mobile technology - Cordova Phonegap
  • Latest technologies - AI, ML, LCNC, RPA, Flutter/ React, Power BI


Responsibilities


• Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies that enhance product development processes and drive competitive advantage.


• Product Innovation: Drive continuous innovation in product development by fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation. Lead the research and development efforts to introduce new features, functionalities, and solutions that address market needs and customer feedback.


• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering and development teams. Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable products.


• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, design, marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and integration of technology initiatives across the organization. Champion a collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and cross-functional communication.


• Technology Stack Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of the technology stack, infrastructure, and tools required for product development. Ensure scalability, security, and performance optimization of systems and applications.


• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, security vulnerabilities, and compliance issues. Implement robust cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive information and maintain regulatory compliance.


• Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and manage the technology budget and resource allocation process. Optimize resource utilization and prioritize technology investments to maximize ROI and drive business growth.


• Vendor and Partner Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and strategic partners. Assess third-party solutions and services to complement internal capabilities and accelerate product development efforts.


Desired Candidate details :


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,

• Proven experience (10 years) in a senior leadership role overseeing technology and product development functions within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Extensive technical expertise in software engineering, architecture, and development methodologies

• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate technology trends and insights into actionable plans and initiatives.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated track record of driving innovation, leading digital transformation initiatives, and delivering successful product launches.

• Experience working in product development organizations or technology-driven companies is highly desirable.
