Job Description:


Position Summary:


The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve Curiotory’s search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and enhance user engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. SEO Strategy Development:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic to the Curiotory website.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for optimization.
  1. On-Page Optimization:
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and other on-page elements to ensure best practices for SEO.
  • Ensure website structure, URL architecture, and internal linking are optimized for search engines.
  1. Content Strategy:
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and audience interests.
  • Provide SEO guidelines and recommendations for content development and improvement.
  1. Technical SEO:
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify issues that may impact search engine crawling and indexing.
  • Work with the development team to implement technical SEO improvements such as site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and schema markup.
  1. Link Building:
  • Develop and execute a link-building strategy to acquire high-quality inbound links from relevant and authoritative websites.
  • Monitor and analyze backlink profiles and work to remove any toxic or harmful links.
  1. Analytics and Reporting:
  • Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to monitor website performance, track keyword rankings, and analyze traffic trends.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to the management team.
  1. Stay Updated:
  • Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Continuously test and experiment with new SEO techniques to improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role with a track record of successful SEO campaigns.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
  • Experience with international SEO and multilingual websites is preferred.
