Appentus Technology is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team at NBCC Bhavan, New Delhi.

The DBA will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Design and Implementation :

- Design, develop, and maintain database systems to meet organizational requirements.

- Create and optimize database schemas, structures, and objects.

- Develop and enforce database management standards, policies, and best practices.

Database Administration :

- Manage database performance by monitoring and optimizing queries, indexing, and system configurations.

- Ensure data security, integrity, and availability through robust policies and encryption techniques.

- Perform regular database backups and recovery tests to safeguard critical data.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance :

- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.

- Collaborate with development and IT teams to resolve performance bottlenecks and implement enhancements.

- Set up and maintain database replication and clustering for high availability.

Data Management and Reporting :

- Create and manage database reports, queries, and stored procedures.

- Work closely with stakeholders to support data analysis and reporting needs.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational data management policies.

Requirements :

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Database Administrator.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

- Hands-on experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

- Strong knowledge of database security tools, backup procedures, and disaster recovery planning.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and database design principles.

- Experience with database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
