Job Title: Mutual Fund Back Office Executive

Department: Operations / Back Office
Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for processing and managing mutual fund investments, including Systematic Investment Plans (SIP) and Lump Sum transactions. 
The role ensures timely execution, reconciliation, and compliance in line with regulatory and AMC requirements.

Key Responsibilities
    •    Process SIP and Lump Sum transactions for mutual fund investments through platforms like BSE Star MF, NSE NMF, or direct AMC portals.
    •    Ensure accurate and timely entry of client transaction data, mandates, and payment instructions.
    •    Coordinate with RTA (e.g., CAMS, KFintech) for transaction status, discrepancies, and confirmations.
    •    Monitor SIP schedules, auto-debits, and handle rejections or bounced transactions.
    •    Perform daily reconciliation of executed orders with fund house confirmations and bank entries.
    •    Generate reports for pending transactions, rejections, and SIP due dates.
    •    Assist front office and clients in resolving queries related to NAV, allotment, or folio creation.
    •    Ensure compliance with SEBI norms and KYC/AML guidelines.
    •    Maintain all records and documentation for audits and internal checks.

Skills & Qualifications
    •    Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
    •    1–2 years experience in mutual fund operations (preferred).
    •    Familiarity with MF platforms like BSE Star MF, NSE NMF, CAMS/KFintech systems.
    •    Strong knowledge of mutual fund products, especially SIP and lump sum investment processes.
    •    Basic understanding of NAV calculations, cut-off timings, and compliance requirements.
