Job Summary :

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Odoo Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom Odoo applications and modules.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Odoo framework, particularly the Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) and the development of robust, scalable data models.

You will be a key player in leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring our Odoo solutions align with business objectives.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules, with a specific focus on building and updating models and their relational fields to meet complex business requirements.

- Lead the development lifecycle from requirements gathering and analysis to deployment and ongoing support.

- Customize existing Odoo modules and integrate third-party applications using APIs to extend functionality.

- Optimize database performance by designing efficient data models and writing complex queries in PostgreSQL.

- Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in Odoo, ensuring system reliability and performance.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo features, versions, and development best practices.

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all development projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of proven experience in Odoo development with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

- Expertise in Python and a deep understanding of the Odoo framework, including the ORM layer, models, and API.

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and the ability to design database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage database migrations.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Knowledge of the Odoo Web Library (OWL) is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Odoo certification is a plus.

- Experience with Odoo.

- Other cloud-based Odoo hosting solutions.

- Experience with migration projects between Odoo versions.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, Docker).

- Knowledge of various business domains such as accounting, inventory, or manufacturing.
