Head of Lab Operations / General ManagerBase:Hyderabad |Covers:Hyderabad, Vizag, Bengaluru, Mumbai & other hubs Reports to:COOMission:Deliver fast, reliable, frugal operations across sites—max uptime, low TAT, zero‑compromise quality.Key Responsibilities (essentials) Own TAT, capacity/shift planning, hub‑and‑spoke load balancing. Ensure analyzer uptime via PM calendars, spares, and vendor SLAs. Drive cost/test: reagent rental optimization, batching (where safe), wastage control, inventory pars. Enforce SOPs/IQC/EQA schedules; audit‑ready documentation and CAPA tracking. Hire, train, cross‑train technologists; run daily huddles and safety culture. Orchestrate courier/cold‑chain windows; monitor logistics SLAs. KPIs Uptime ≥98% Inventory wastage ≤1% COGS; PM on‑time ≥95%; Vendor SLA ≥95%.QualificationsBSc/MSC MLT/Biomed Engg/MBA 5 - 8 yrs experience in high‑throughput lab operations Strong vendor & inventory management; ISO/NABL exposure. Good English communication
