Position Title: Assistant Manager – Compensation & Benefits

Location: Bangalore

What you’ll do at Quess-


Roles & Responsibilities:


1. Total Rewards Strategy Development:

  • Support in implementing comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support in conducting regular assessments and market analysis to ensure the competitiveness and effectiveness of total rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with leads to align total rewards initiatives with talent acquisition, retention, and performance management strategies.


2. Compensation Management:

  • Support in designing and administration of competitive compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and equity compensation plans.
  • Conduct job evaluations, salary surveys, and benchmarking to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Provide support to HR and management on compensation-related decisions, including salary offers, promotions, and pay adjustments.


3. Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee the organization's benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.
  • Manage relationships with benefit vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor program performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and communicate benefits programs effectively to employees.


4. Recognition and Rewards Programs:

  • Implement employee recognition programs to foster a culture of appreciation and engagement.
  • Implement rewards and incentives to motivate and retain top talent, including performance based bonuses and non-monetary rewards.
  • Support in measuring the effectiveness of recognition and rewards initiatives through employee feedback and performance metrics.


5. HR Audit and Analytics:

  • Audit and Evaluation: Conducting audits of existing compensation and benefits programs to assess effectiveness, efficiency, and fairness. This may involve reviewing policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • HR Metrics and KPIs: Defining and tracking key HR metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing HR data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. This may involve using statistical methods, predictive analytics, and data visualization tools to uncover insights.
  • Analyzing compensation and benefits data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. This may involve using tools like spreadsheets, HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), or specialized analytics software. What we are looking for:


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in total rewards management, compensation and benefits administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation strategies, benefits programs, and recognition practices.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, HRMS, HCM Cloud, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms)
