You will design, develop, and optimize distributed microservices, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud-native architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Build and optimize event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streams, schema registry).Implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging flows, and distributed system patterns.Ensure application scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance (circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, Saga patterns).Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using best practices (TDD/Unit/Integration tests).Integrate microservices with databases: SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and use containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Collaborate closely with DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines.Monitor service health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.Required SkillsCore Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Java 8+ (preferably Java 11/17).Expert in Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.Deep hands-on experience with Apache Kafka:Producers/consumersKafka StreamsConsumer GroupsTopics & partitionsSchema Registry (Avro/JSON)Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
