We are seeking skilledMechanical Design Engineerswith experience inrebuild operations,tooling design, andheavy machinery components. Ideal candidates will have hands-on expertise inCreo modelling,weld modelling,GD&T,tolerance stack-up analysis, andDFM/DFA principles. Key Responsibilities:PerformCreo modelling and detailingfor mechanical components, assemblies, and drawings. Applyweld modellingtechniques including weld symbols, standards, and CAD integration. ConductGD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)andtolerance stack-up analysisfor precision engineering. ImplementDFM/DFA principlesandLean Manufacturingconcepts to optimize design and production. Analyze machine configurations and determine required parts for rebuilds of heavy machinery. Maintain and update service catalogs and rebuild templates for lifecycle management. Generate accurate parts lists and cross-reference with historical service data. Create build books and documentation using advanced tools likeTeamcenter Vismockup. Interpret engineering drawings and translate into 3D models and manufacturing-ready documentation. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, manufacturing feasibility, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tooling and fixture designs. Communicate effectively with global teams and stakeholders for project execution. Manage multiple rebuild and tooling projects simultaneously with strong analytical skills.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. 2–10 years of experience in mechanical design, rebuild operations, or tooling. Strong expertise inCreo modelling and detailing. Proficiency inweld modelling,GD&T, andtolerance stack-up analysis. Knowledge ofDFM/DFA principles,Lean Manufacturing, andmaterial selection. Familiarity withTeamcenter Vismockupandheavy machinery components(e.g., construction, mining equipment). Excellent communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint/Keynote).
