Now Hiring | Technical Service Manager – Automotive OEM Color & Quality Excellence | PuneJob Description Position:Technical Service Manager – COLOR Solutions Company:A Leading OEM / Automotive Paints Manufacturing Company Location:Pune, Maharashtra Industry:Automotive OEM CoatingsRole Summary The organization is seeking a highly experienced Technical Service Manager – Color Solutionsto support automotive OEM customers with advancedcolor management, formulation, and quality control systems . The role is responsible for ensuringfirst-pass color approval, production stability, and global color consistencyat OEM paint shops. This is acustomer-facing technical leadership role , requiring deep expertise in automotive coatings, color science, and OEM paint shop operations.Key Responsibilities Color Solutions Lead implementation and sustainment ofColor formulation and color management systemsat OEM sites. Ensure compliance withOEM master color standardsand internal quality benchmarks. Deliver first-time-right color results fornew model launches, facelifts, and running production . OEM Technical Support Provide advanced technical support forautomotive basecoat and clearcoat systems . Resolve complex color issues related toshade variation, color travel, flop, brightness, and consistency . Support OEMs duringtrials, pilot runs, SOP, and ramp-up phases . Color Measurement & Quality Control Oversee effective use ofspectrophotometers and color measurement tools . Analyzemulti-angle color data, Delta E values, and SPC trendsto ensure color stability. Establish robustcolor control plansat customer locations. Cross-Functional Coordination Act as the technical interface betweenOEM customers, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Global Color teams . Leadroot cause analysis and CAPAfor color and process deviations. Participate in OEM technical reviews, audits, and escalation discussions. Team Leadership Guide and developTechnical Service Engineers and Color Specialists . Conduct training oncolor science, and best practices .Candidate Profile Qualifications B.E./B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) or M.Sc.
