Having pioneered the model in India in 2008, Rang De's purpose built technology platform has proved to be game changing for providing timely access to credit for thousands of farmers and entrepreneurs. We recently pivoted into an NBFC-P2P and have a highly differentiated model from other peer-to-peer lending platforms.

Role Overview:
We are looking for an individual with passion for making a difference and empathy for the financially disadvantaged sections of society to join us as a leader with responsibility of an AVP - Impact Operations.
Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, start-up environment. An energetic, proactive and self-motivated financial professional would be ideal for the role.
Responsibility:
- Implementing and ensuring practices and procedures for optimising efficiency and efficacy of all aspects of credit operations
- Ensuring a razor sharp focus on the credit operations process right from sourcing to disbursal.
- Daily review of KPIs for Credit operations to drive process efficiency and effectiveness. These include, but are not limited to Process TAT, Quality, Rework , Approval % , Reasons for Rejections, Delinquency etc. Importantly, Driving structural fixes and improvements basis these insights.
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of historical Delinquent cases to identify trends and root causes. Work with internal stakeholders and with partners to Implement proactive measures to drive improvements.
- Providing commercial insights and leadership to the team as well as across the business in order to enable the organisation to meet its larger business and social impact objectives
- Working with the Risk team to ensure that a robust risk and compliance management system is effectively operated within the credit operations unit
- Collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams to implement new technologies, processes and systems to drive automation and improve productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of the operations process.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing SOPs to ensure these are updated with the latest processes and procedures.
- Forecasting credit demand and supply including providing inputs and recommendations to the members of the executive management team for tactical and strategic business planning
- Liaison with Partners and legal consultants to pursue prevention and effective resolution of delinquent loans and NPAs
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including impact partners, peers, vendors and senior management.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration
- Semi / Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant / Post Graduate qualification in finance / business administration / credit management shall be preferred
- 7 - 10 years of experience of credit management with well reputed, professionally managed NBFC / Bank
- A good understanding of of the regulatory environment wrt lending / banking
- Good understanding of Risk management practices and concepts like delinquency management and scorecards.
- Sound Risk and Operations credit management skills are essential and a good working knowledge of Credit Bureaus and their operations.
- Self-starter , proactive and self-motivated with strong prioritisation, execution and organisation skills
- High level communication and people skills
