Job Responsibilities*


The position will be a dedicated resource for marketing efforts for BITSoM’s MBA programme, reporting to the VP Marketing, Brand and PR, BITS Pilani, Mumbai Campus.

  • Own and manage the admission marketing funnel – from advertising for awareness to performance marketing for lead generation you will work with the digital marketing agency.
  • Write creative briefs for the agency for ads and other assets for the marketing campaigns, and work with the creative team to take these to completion.
  • The role will also require close working with the admissions team to a) help nurture leads to application and b) market admission events.
  • Manage the agency and the budget to plan, execute and monitor digital marketing campaigns to ensure that quality leads are acquired while maintaining budgeted cost per lead and other metrics.


Responsibilities shared with other marketing team members:

  • Plan and execute events – this is an added responsibility for all members of the marketing team. We have 3-4 events in a year.
  • Working closely with the student committee on initiatives and mentoring them on marketing activities they undertake for the institute.
  • Brand support - Creation and/or Feedback on collaterals Student Magazine, Profile book, branded merchandise and collaterals etc.


Qualifications and competencies

  • MBA from a reputed business school.
  • At least 7 years of experience in digital marketing and managing both performance marketing and the creative pipeline.
  • Experience in budget planning and management.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to get the job done.
