Robotics Engineer Intern

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Developer Intern to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced robotic systems for the OSS innovative platform. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in robotic software architecture, proficiency in Robot Operating System 2 (ROS2), and a strong background in software development, hardware integration and real-time control systems.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop robotic systems and components tailored for programmable robotic arms.Develop and optimize software for robotic control, ensuring high performance and reliability.Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.Qualifications:Educational Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Programming Languages: Expertise in Python and C++.Robot Operating System 2 (ROS2): Experience in developing and deploying applications within the ROS2 framework.MoveIt 2: Experience in motion planning, manipulation, and control using MoveIt 2.Gazebo Simulation: Proficiency in creating and managing robot simulations in Gazebo, including environment setup and integration with ROS2.Robotic Arms: Hands-on experience with robotic arm systems, including kinematics, dynamics, and control strategies.Development Tools: Proficiency with Docker and Git for version control and containerization.Benefits:Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology open source technology in a collaborative and innovative environment.Comprehensive professional development opportunities.Recognition as an Open Source Contributor.About RAS Platform (https://github.com/ras-ros2) : The Robotic Application Stack (RAS) is an open-source robotics application platform that enables developers to write robotics applications once and deploy them anywhere.
