Management Consultant

Our client, a global consulting firm is working on a high-impact education reform project aimed at building and scaling a state-wide school transformation and launch initiative in Madhya Pradesh.
To support this initiative, the client is looking to onboard a Management Consultant with prior experience of working on Public Sector projects. The consultant will be required to drive transformative change in the State's education sector through strategy development, solution design, and on-ground implementation at scale.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Vision Development: Craft a comprehensive strategy for implementing and scaling a new model of quality-focused public schools in Madhya Pradesh, with a focus on ambitious, long-term educational reform goals
- Innovative Solution Design and Execution Roadmap: Collaborate with senior education officials to establish best practices in public education; design an actionable roadmap, including milestone tracking, resource planning, and KPI development for project rollout
- Project Implementation Support: Oversee critical activities related to construction, procurement, curriculum design, and teacher training to ensure effective and timely project delivery
- Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Develop and deploy a robust monitoring system that integrates real-time data to adapt and improve project execution; produce detailed reports and recommendations based on key insights
- Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between the consulting firm and government stakeholders, particularly the School Education Department, to foster alignment, communication, and sustained collaboration
Your background:
- Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience, with 3+ years in top-tier consulting, preferably within public sector consulting, education reform, or government-related projects
- Bachelor's degree required, with advanced degrees in Public Policy, Business, or related fields preferred
- Skilled in managing complex, multi-faceted projects, including aspects of construction planning and academic program development
- Proven track record of working with senior government officials and cross-functional teams
This opportunity will be on a 12-month contract, requiring the consultant to work full-time on-site in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, to ensure effective collaboration with local stakeholders and seamless project execution. The consultant will need to relocate to Bhopal for the project's entire duration.
