Role and Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary liaison between business users and the development team, providing expert guidance on the development of trading back office software features.

- Lead the coordination efforts between the internal engineering team and client product teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive release plan for trading back office software, incorporating regulatory requirements, market trends, and business priorities.

- Create detailed and insightful Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for internal and external stakeholders, articulating complex business and technical requirements.

- Communicate effectively with clients to gather and clarify requirements, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

- Define and refine technical architectures for trading back office systems, considering scalability, performance, and security requirements.

- Mentor junior business analysts, providing guidance on best practices, industry trends, and effective stakeholder management.

- Ensure the successful implementation of changes by the internal team, conducting thorough reviews and providing constructive feedback to enhance software functionality.

- Take ownership of the trading back office software's success, acting as the key point of contact for all stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requisite Skills:

- Extensive experience in trading equity derivatives or other financial instruments, with a deep understanding of trading back office operations.

- Strong market knowledge and the ability to analyze market trends to inform software development decisions.

- Proficiency in drafting detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and other project documentation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile, JIRA, and Confluence.

- Experience in leading complex projects from conception to delivery, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.

- A proactive and results-driven approach, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
