Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for an ETL Test Engineer at Neer Info Solutions in Mumbai.

The ETL Test Engineer will be responsible for test engineering, test execution, creating test cases, functional testing, and overall testing activities within the organization.

Qualifications :

- Test Engineering and Test Execution skills.

- Experience in creating test cases and conducting functional testing.

- Ability to perform comprehensive testing activities.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Relevant experience in ETL testing is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Job Description :


- As an ETL Test Engineer at Neer Info Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data pipelines.


Your responsibilities will include :


Test Engineering and Execution :


- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies.


- Develop and maintain test plans and test cases.


- Utilize test automation tools to improve efficiency.


- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.


- Analyze test results and generate detailed reports.


Data Validation :


- Validate data quality, consistency, and completeness.


- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies.


- Perform data profiling and data cleansing activities.


Problem-Solving :


- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues.


- Analyze root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.


- Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix defects.


Collaboration :


- Work closely with business analysts, data analysts, and developers to understand requirements.


- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.


- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.


Technical Skills :


- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and processes.


- Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.


- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.).


- Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling.


- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium).


- Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting).


- Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
