Tender/Costing Coordinator

The Tender/Costing Coordinator in the Tender Department plays a key role in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to support accurate tender cost estimation and tender analysis and management. This position majorly involves collecting and reviewing data, working closely with internal teams such as Operations, Sales, BD, and Tender, and verifying that cost calculations use appropriate formulas. The coordinator ensures all costing documentation aligns with both company standards and client specifications. Success in this role requires keen attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a solid understanding of project costing within the civil, construction, engineering, or GIS/Geospatial sectors.Competence Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel. Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Education Bachelor’s degree in engineering, GIS or a related field. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Tender, Operations, and BD/Sales teams to develop project cost estimates. Analyse tender documents, including instructions, specifications, and evaluation criteria. Ensure all submissions are made before deadlines in the correct format (online/offline). Create a project scope summary using the designated format. Distribute all tender documents to the Costing and BD/Sales teams and organize them on the shared drive. Verify the accuracy of the rates provided by the costing team and ensure correct formulas are applied. Maintain and regularly update an Excel sheet with records of ongoing tenders that have completed costing. Address inquiries from the Operations and BD/Sales teams regarding tender documents, including RFPs, scope details, and BOQs. Monitor communication history and version control of costing documents. Maintain proper documentation and archival of all tender costing records for future use and auditing purposes. Ensure all cost estimates align with company guidelines and client specifications. Knowledge Strong understanding of tendering procedures and government procurement processes. Knowledge of GIS/Civil or related subject is must. Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Experience in the tendering process within construction, engineering, GIS or similar industries. 3-6 years of experience in a similar tendering and coordinator role. Skills Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel. Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
