Job Title: Lead / Senior Database DeveloperExperience: 7+ yearsJob Title: Lead Database DeveloperLocation: Hyderabad, (Work From office 5 days a week)Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with large enterprise applications and providing data-related solutions. This position requires expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, database design, and ETL processes, with hands-on experience in relational and non-relational databases, as well as proficiency in cloud technologies like AWS. The candidate should also be experienced in working with PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake, and Talend.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development, design, and implementation of database solutions for large-scale enterprise applications. - Design and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL stored procedures, and other database objects. - Develop and manage relational and non-relational database systems, with an emphasis on performance optimization. - Utilize cloud technologies, specifically AWS, to manage, maintain, and scale databases. - Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL and Oracle, as well as cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake. - Handle ETL processes using Talend to extract, transform, and load data efficiently. - Troubleshoot and debug database-related issues, improving performance, scalability, and reliability. - Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members and ensure the best practices are followed. - Work on database architecture and data modeling to ensure efficient database design and optimal performance. - Apply strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex database issues. - Continuously improve database performance and implement optimization strategies.Required Qualifications and Skills:- Minimum of 7 years of experience in database development, working with large enterprise applications. - Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, database design, and development of stored procedures and scripts. - Extensive experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and related database services. - Proficiency in ETL processes and experience with Talend for data integration and transformation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve performance issues. - Experience in debugging and optimizing database performance for large-scale systems. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with modern development practices, such as Agile and DevOps, is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with additional cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Knowledge of other ETL tools or programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) is a bonus. - Experience with advanced database features such as replication, partitioning, and clustering.Sonata Software is a global IT solutions powerhouse with a legacy of 38 years of excellence.
