Job Title: Sketch Artist for Character Design and Scenes

CTC: 2.40LPA

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sketch Artist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual concepts for characters, scenes, and storyboards. Your creative vision will play a crucial role in bringing our projects to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Character Design: Develop unique and memorable characters with distinct personalities and visual styles.
  • Create character sheets and turnarounds, including expressions, costumes, and props.
  • Explore a range of visual styles, from realistic to stylized and cartoony.
  • Scene Design: Design and illustrate dynamic and visually appealing scenes for various media (animation, comics, games, etc.).
  • Create mood boards and concept art to communicate visual direction.
  • Develop detailed layouts and storyboards to guide the production process.
  • Screenplay Visualization: Collaborate with writers to translate script elements into compelling visual narratives.
  • Create storyboards and animatics to visualize scenes and sequences.
  • Contribute to the development of character arcs and plot points.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
  • Experience with digital painting and drawing tablets is preferred.
  • Knowledge of animation principles is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Portfolio: A strong online portfolio showcasing your character design, scene design, and storyboard skills is required.
  • Skills: Excellent drawing and painting skills with a strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, and color theory.
  • Creativity: A highly creative and imaginative mind with the ability to generate original concepts.
