Job Title:QA TesterExperience Range:5–10 years Location:BangaloreKey Responsibilities 1. Functionality Testing Verify that all existing features perform as expected after each software update. Conduct testing acrossLEDs, LCD, MQTT, boot-up/shutdown times, facial recognition, VWD, ticketing, and other core functionalities. Performhands-on testingdirectly at the cell, including multipletest walksto validate system behavior and feature stability. 2. New Feature Validation Identify new features introduced in each software release. Design and executetest casesspecific to these features. Example: For VWD, test LED behavior, toggle functionality on the LCD, and remote enable/disable operations via MQTT. Conductphysical walk-through teststo ensure complete feature validation. 3. Lab Performance Testing Deploy new software versions to ~50% of lab cells for aone-week observation period. MonitorAI (Torso)andMagnetometer (Ankle)detection performance. Compare data against baseline performance from previously approved versions. Identify anomalies such aserror codes, crashes, or performance degradation. 4. Field Performance Testing Deploy and test new versions on a limited number offield cells (typically two at REH). Evaluatereal-world AI and Magnetometer performanceand overall system stability. Report irregularities or deviations relative to prior versions. 5. Update Process Validation After successful validation, oversee thesoftware update processacross all remaining lab machines. Ensure updates complete successfully without interruptions or errors across multiple cells.Primary Skills Functional and regression testing Test case design and execution Hardware and embedded system testing (LEDs, LCDs, sensors, etc.) Understanding ofMQTT protocol Data monitoring and anomaly detection Secondary Skills (Preferred) Experience withAI-based systemsorsensor testing Familiarity withfield testingandperformance benchmarking Preferred Industry / Domain Hardware-integrated software testing AI or IoT-driven environments.
