Brief DescriptionAbout Zywave:Zywave is a leading provider of insurtech solutions, empowering insurance brokers and agencies with cutting-edge software tools for client engagement, data analytics, and growth.With a global footprint and a commitment to innovation, Zywave fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and impact.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Engineering Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple technology products and projects.This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.You will play a pivotal role in aligning engineering execution with business objectives and delivering value to stakeholders.Key Delivery & Management- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical products, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality.- Define delivery plans, milestones, and allocate resources appropriately.- Monitor progress and proactively identify and manage risks and issues.Technical Leadership- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.- Ensure compliance with architectural standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance processes.- Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable and robust solutions.Stakeholder Engagement- Act as the primary liaison with the US-based Delivery Lead.- Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly and regularly to all stakeholders.Team Coordination- Manage cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product owners.- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.- Conduct regular stand-ups, retrospectives, and performance reviews.- Define and track team performance metrics.Process Improvement- Utilize performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps).- Promote and implement best practices in software development and product Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 12+ years of experience in software development and delivery.- 8+ years of experience in technical leadership or delivery management roles.- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps practices.- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.- Proven experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.- Hands-on experience in technologies such as .NET, Python, PHP, Snowflake, and AI-related tools.Technical Delivery Management- Agile Methodology- .NET Framework- SQL- GitGood to Have:- Python- PHP- Snowflake- AWS- DevOps- Prompt Engineering (AI)Domain Experience:- Prior experience in the Insurance domain is highly preferred.Why Work at Zywave?Zywave empowers insurers and brokers to drive profitable growth and thrive in todays escalating risk landscape.Only Zywave delivers a powerful Performance Multiplier, bringing together transformative, ecosystem-wide capabilities to amplify impact across data, processes, people, and customer experiences.More than 15,000 insurers, MGAs, agencies, and brokerages trust Zywave to sharpen risk assessment, strengthen client relationships, and enhance operations.Additional information can be found at www.zywave.com.
