Job Requirement:


The SME/ Senior IT Administrator with VMware, Cloud (AWS/Azure), HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure), and Datacentre Technology experience is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing the management, administration, and support of the organization's IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms, virtualization environments, and datacenter technologies. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and driving the adoption of modern technologies.


Technical/Functional Skills Required:


  • IT Infrastructure Management:

Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and datacenters.

Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and networks, including on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.

Implement best practices and industry standards for IT infrastructure management.


  • Cloud Platform Administration:

Manage and administer cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.

Hands on experience with windows servers , RHEL , Linux in HA / Cluster environments

Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and scalability.


  • Virtualization Environment Administration:

Manage and administer VMware virtualization environments, including VMware vSphere and VMware vCenter.

Hands on experience with windows servers , RHEL , Linux in HA / Cluster environments

Monitor and optimize virtual machine performance, resource allocation, and high availability.

Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions using virtualization technologies.


  • Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Administration:

Manage and administer HCI platforms, such as VMware vSAN or other HCI solutions.

Design and implement HCI architectures, including compute, storage, and networking resources.

Monitor and optimize HCI performance, scalability, and resilience.


  • Datacenter Technology Management:

Oversee the management and maintenance of datacenter technologies, including server racks, cooling systems, power distribution, and cabling infrastructure.

Implement best practices for datacenter operations, including capacity planning and environmental monitoring.

Ensure compliance with datacenter standards and regulations.


  • Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and datacenter technologies.

Monitor and address security vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and implement appropriate controls.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.


  • Incident and Problem Management:

Respond to and resolve IT incidents and problems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.

Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement preventive measures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues.


Technical /Functional Skills Required:


  • Extensive experience in IT Infrastructure Management, including experience with VMware, Cloud (AWS/Azure), HCI, and datacenter technologies.
  • Strong experience in VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN.
  • Familiarity with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) platforms and their administration. Knowledge of datacenter technologies, including server
  • Hands on experience with windows servers , RHEL , Linux in HA / Cluster environments
  • Hands on experience in network technologies and maintaining Cisco / HP /Dell routing and switching platforms. Configuration of Cisco routers, Switches, Load Balancers, VOIP devices, Cisco Unified Communication Manager for VOIP Applications, Cisco PIX firewall series
  • Hands on experience is configuring and maintaining TCP/IP Protocols.
  • Hands on experience in Network security & VPN.
